Do you charge your laptop and use it at the same time?

I like to drain my laptop battery before charging it but since I don't have a strong laptop battery again, I can plug it and be making use of it because if there's no light, my laptop will just trip off. I'm planning of changing the battery.

I don’t understand, you always drain all the battery before you charge it again? That’s not necessary though.

For the safety of batteries, it is not advisable to plug it while using it. This is because that damages a lot of things in the battery. Over a period of time, the battery will start malfunctioning.

Yes, I do that before to avoid killing my battery life. If I'm using my laptop and charging it as well, it doesn't make a lot of sense to me.
Are you saying that charging the laptop and still use it that moment, nothing will happen to the battery?

Unless it is a very critical situation, I will never plug my laptop as it charging and also using it at the same time. It is not even good healthwise for the person.

The only laptop that I can plug is the one that have a weak battery. You might not enjoy your work because it must go off whenever there's power outage. It's not health-wise, more reason to get money and change the battery.

It's a very common habit for me, including with my smartphone as well. I'm not sure if I would be able to break that habit.

Yeah, I do most of the time especially when I’m working or watching something. I just try not to let it run completely flat too often.

I am over the moon with happiness whenever I'm watching something with my phone and my phone is completely full when I'm done.

I’ve also tried to be careful with that habit by only plugging in when really necessary. It just feels better knowing you’re not stressing the device or yourself in the process.
