What Kind of Sites Are Best For Google Adsense

I have used Google Adsense on blogs, forums, portfolio site, and even online stores. I have made more money from Adsense on my blogs compared to other kind of sites. However, just because I made money on blog does not mean Adsense is perfect for blogs for other people as well. Where did you use Adsense, what kind of sites are best for earning through Adsense?
